How to activate the free trial for Semrush?
To activate the 14-day free trial, you just need to head over to this page.
There you just need to register yourself for a free account, and on the next page, you can see the 14 days the Semrush trial will be activated.
You do need to also remember that your card will be charged after the 14 days of the free trial ends.
Once you enter your card details and do the checkout, the trial will be activated on your account.
How to cancel your Semrush trial account?
After activating the trial, your card will be automatically charged within the next 14 days.
To avoid this, you should set a timely reminder ⏰ and cancel your subscription.
There are two options to cancel your subscription:
- Follow the cancellation link that will enable you to log in to your account and issue a cancellation request.
- You can contact their support team from the same email ID that you used to sign up for the trial. In the email, provide them details such as your billing amount, date of your last payment, and last four digits of the credit card. This will enable them to identify and cancel your subscription.
Please note that if your card has already been charged after the trial period, you have 7 days to request a refund according to their refund and cancellation policy.
Once you cancel your premium subscription, your account will revert back to the free-level, and Semrush will store all your project’s data for 30 days in case you decide to renew it.

The Pro and Guru plans are the most popular.
For individual content creators, the Pro plan at $129.95 per month is ideal. It supports 5 projects, 10,000 results/reports, and 500 keywords to track.

And its latest ARR growth has reached $322.8 million. With this kind of growth and massive fundings, they are rolling out a lot of features to make it the one-stop destination for content marketing efforts.
Although there are dozens of updates, here are the key ones:
- AI integration: Semrush has integrated with ChatGPT and OpenAI to help research blog content and also brainstorm content ideas. It also released a tool to manage Google My Business reviews, where AI can draft replies to user reviews.
