Today in this post I am going to present you Kyvio review and help you decide whether it is the right platform for you or not.
Kyvio is an online platform to sell your products, memberships, and services. It comes with funnel building, affiliate program, membership sites, and also has its own autoresponder.
I will explain all the features that Kyvio offers you and also compare them with its competitors.
Without waiting further let’s get started with the review.
- Kyvio itself comes with many built-in tools like an autoresponder, support desk, affiliate program, membership builder, and funnel builder. So you don’t need to shell out money in buying external platforms.
- Kyvio’s user interface is excellent, and its drag and drop editor is very intuitive.
- Kyvio supports an unlimited number of pages, unlimited affiliates, and unlimited modules under each membership.
- You can split test the funnel pages to know which convert best for you and plan your strategies accordingly to get more ROI for ad spent.
- You can provide your customer’s coupon or discounts for increased conversions. You can activate or deactivate them for a specific period of time. This is best for seasonal events.
- Its marketing features are not as advanced as Kartra or ClickFunnels.
- It lacks the bump offer feature. You need to make use of external platforms like ThriveCart to achieve this.
- The number of design elements offered by Kyvio is really less compared to its competitors.
- Unlike Kartra or ClickFunnels, Kyvio supports only two payment gateways. Those are PayPal and Stripe.
Using Kyvio’s funnel builder you can build beautiful landing pages and also sales funnels that are optimized for conversions.
Using its drag and drop builder, you can build various funnels like LeadGen funnel, sales funnel, product launch funnel, webinar funnel, and custom funnels with zero coding skills.
To speed up your funnel building experience, Kyvio provides you with professionally designed built-in templates that are conversion-tested.
Even you can create funnels from scratch by using custom CSS and HTML. I found this really flexible.
Let me show you how to create a funnel.
The first step is you need to select the type of funnel you are creating.
Let me create a sales funnel.
In the next step, you need to select the pages you need to add to your funnel.
At this point, you don’t need to worry about designing the page or the templates. Just add any number of pages you want.
I have selected four pages to add to my funnel. Presell page, upsell, downsell, and thank you page.
Now it’s time to customize them.
You can either use funnel templates to edit the page or create them from scratch.
Similar to Kartra or ClickFunnels, Kyvio comes with A/B split testing where you can split test the different variations of funnels and opt-in pages.
You need to create variation B of the page you are split testing and set the goal of the split testing.
Kyvio has a very intuitive drag and drop builder for creating visually attractive pages.
Although the builder is not so eye-candy, it gets the job done!
The elements bar will be collapsed by default. You need to first select the element and then drag it to the canvas.
To speed up your design process Kyvio provides you various pre-made blocks similar to some other apps like Kartra.
Once you drag any element, it’ll open up the element settings modal where you can tweak the properties of the element.
You need to just customize them to match your requirements. You can optimize these pages for mobile devices also.
You can also reuse the same page design in the future, by saving it as a template.
I would say that the page building experience is pretty decent with some minor quirks. They would have offered a better UI/UX similar to ClickFunnels.
Using Kyvio’s membership builder, you can create beautiful membership sites for selling your products and services.
To add your products and services, first, you need to set your membership site.
You need to fill in all the membership site information like title, slug, registration settings, login settings, and logout settings.
The next step is the email settings.
For sending the transactional emails, you can make use of Kyvio’s built-in SMTP. You are also free to send the emails under your own domain by integrating any of the third-party platforms.
You can refer to their integration page to see which are the external platforms it supports.
You can set up the notifications for sending the welcome emails whenever a new member registers for your membership site or existing members register for another site.
Along with these, you can also set up
- Confirmation emails notifying the members to confirm their registration
- Forgot password emails to allow users to reset their password
- Purchase receipt email to send the payment bills
- Canceled subscription emails to let the users know about the site subscription cancellation
Next, you need to create the membership site registration form by choosing the fields you need to include.
Here you can reorder the fields at your convenience. The city, address, state, etc. are optional fields. If you want you can enable them.
This is all about setting up a membership site.
Let us move on to adding products inside the membership sites.
Click on add new product, this will take you to the product creation window.
There you need to fill the product information, payment options, and also the pricing levels.
You need to fill product name, type, product image, URL, currency, product support link, and many more.
You can also enable or disable the options like show member progress, show quiz score on the module page, and allow the upgrade.
Also, you can set the product status as active or inactive. Keep in mind that you can sell only the products which are in the active status.
Next, you need to select the payment gateway and set the pricing levels.
By default, the pricing plan will be set as a lifetime. You are free to add multiple pricing variants.
To add a new pricing variant, just click on the “add price variant” and fill in the details.
Kyvio allows you to select among the three pricing types like free, one-time, and subscription-based.
Also, you can make the membership access public or restrict it to members only.
Based on the pricing plans, whenever a visitor has purchased the product, you can perform certain actions like
- Add them to the email list
- Remove or apply the tags
- Register them to a webinar
- Provide access to additional products
You can add more than one action.
The next thing is adding the content inside the membership modules.
In the contents section, you can add the modules. Click on the add module to add the content.
Inside the modules, you can add as many lessons as you want. You can preview the modules before making them live.
You can add the content inside the lessons using the membership editor.
Kyvio allows you to add quizzes inside the memberships. For this, click on the add/edit quiz then add the quiz title, descriptions, questions, etc.
Kyvio comes with the theme selector for you to choose the membership theme that suits your brand.
Using its membership site editor you can customize the pages for higher conversions.
There are no restrictions on the number of memberships you create, you are free to add unlimited pages and unlimited modules inside each membership.
The membership editor comes with various elements like text, image, video, box, spacer, divider, and text.
With Kyvio you can automatically or manually manage all the member’s accounts. Also, add the relevant tags so that you can send them targeted emails based on their interests or the actions they take.
You can add your members to an email list. For this, you can make use of
Kyvio’s built-in autoresponder or any of the external email marketing softwares.
Kyvio allows you to import or export members from/to other platforms.
Similar to its competitors, with Kyvio you can offer your members multiple pricing levels, coupons, and discounts.
You can provide either the fixed price or percentage-wise discount. You can also set the coupon usage limits from 1-99999.
Similar to other platforms, with Kyvio you can set the time limits for the coupon to remain active. If you are promoting products during any special events like Black Friday or your webinar, this feature comes really handy.
Similar to its competitors, Kyvio allows you to send both the broadcast messages or email sequences.
Before creating the broadcast messages you need to first set up the SMTP integration and the mail setting.
Similarly, for creating the sequence emails first set up the sequence settings like name, select the “for list”, and enter the description.
Kyvio comes with a list manager where you can manage the lists, segment the lists based on the events, and also automate the email sequences based on the actions visitors take.
When it comes to automation, Kyvio doesn’t come with a visual sequence builder, unlike Kartra.
The downside is that with Kyvio you can create the automation based on only three events, like:
- On subscriber added
- On link click
- On email open
You can add the subscribers manually, or upload the CSV file, or import the lists from any third-party platforms.
You can also export the subscribers.
You can also create beautiful opt-in forms using its built-in templates and customize them as per your needs.
To get started with Kyvio’s affiliate platform first you need to set up the affiliate email, email signature, address, etc.
It provides two promotional tools like banner and email swipes.
You can create your own commission plans and set it as a 1-tier, 2-tier, or recurring commission. You can also set the commissions for specific affiliates.
You can manage an unlimited number of affiliates and handle all the payments by yourself.
Also, with Kyvio’s referral tracker you can track your affiliate links and know the sources from which you are getting the traffic.
With Kyvio’s blog builder you can create beautiful pages, the posts, and publish them with your own domain or use the Kyvio subdomain.
Kyvio provides 3 themes for you to choose for designing your blog.
The post creation is very similar to WordPress. You can preview the posts before making them live.
If you are currently using WordPress and want to switch over to Kyvio, you just need to upload the WordPress eXtended RSS (WXR) file. This will import all the posts, categories, and tags from your WordPress to Kyvio.
This is really a neat feature.
With Kyvio’s support desk, you can set up your own support center.
To get started with this, you need to first set up your support email, email signature, etc.
You can add the staff members, various departments, and the tags.
It is very similar to Kartra Help desk, except for the lack of some features.
Kartra provides built-in templates and allows to customize the help desks with logos, colors, etc. This is not possible with Kyvio.
Kartra helpdesk also comes with a multi-agent collaboration feature where you can transfer the support emails, tickets from one department to another.
Kyvio comes with a good number of integrations with most of the popular payment gateways, affiliate platforms, membership site platforms, webinar platforms, autoresponders, and many more.
The integrations include:
- Deal Guardian
- WSO PRO standard
- WSO PRO advanced
- Pixabay(FreeeImage database)
- Much more
Kyvio comes with 3 pricing plans. The basic plan, business, and the Pro plan.
The basic plan costs $29/mo, business plan costs $69/mo, while the pro plan costs $149/mo.
You can avail a 20% discount on the annual plans.
The basic plan lacks split testing, content dripping, list automation, segmentation, and custom branding. If you want access to these features you need to go with their higher plans.
Kyvio is more focused on membership sites creation whereas ClickFunnels is mainly for funnel building.
ClickFunnels is a big brand in the industry with a bigger community.
If you want to build advanced sales funnels to improve your business I highly recommend you ClickFunnels.
If you are more into membership creation and want to set a good affiliate platform to sell your products and services then Kyvio is the best value for your money.
Kartra is also one of the best membership sites platform you can consider. But to be honest, the features offered by Kartra are more when compared to Kyvio.
If you run an agency then Kartra’s agency feature comes really handy and it helps you in managing all your client websites in a centralized dashboard.
Also, Kartra comes with a visual sequence builder to automate your marketing campaigns which are lacking in Kyvio.
Compared to Kyvio the funnel templates provided by Kartra are more advanced and conversion-friendly.
If you are on a budget you can go with Kyvio as it costs less – $29/mo whereas Kartra costs more – $99/mo.
