Why not Builderall? 👎

In-depth Comparison: Builderall and ClickFunnels

Interface

Builderall comes with dozens of tools.

BuilderAll interface

By default, only three apps will be activated.

In order to activate more apps, you need to head over to the “Install more apps” section and selectively activate the available apps. As you install the apps, they’ll appear in the dashboard.

On the other hand, ClickFunnels comes with a limited number of apps.

ClickFunnels interface

You can access all the tools and features in your top navigation bar.

When it comes to overall design and experience, ClickFunnels offers a more refined user interface and experience. Builderall’s design is quite dated, but not at all that bad.

Funnel building

Builderall has got their funnel builder which they call it “Builderall Canvas”.

Selecting the funnel template

All you need to do is click on any of the templates that you wish to use.

Here you can see the funnel builder canvas loading up.

Builder canvas

Here you can select any page in the builder canvas, and there will be many options available. Here you have a limited number of themes and layouts which you can choose when compared to that of ClickFunnels.

ClickFunnels funnel templates

On the other hand, with ClickFunnels you have a lot of funnel templates and they are categorized neatly unlike Builderall.

You also need to note that there are also some paid templates that you can consider purchasing.

Various templates to choose

There are also various landing page designs for a particular funnel. You can select any one of those. At this stage, you don’t need to worry about the colors, as you can customize them.

Selecting a template for a page

If there are more than 2 pages in a funnel, ClickFunnels asks you to select a template for every page step-by-step.

I really liked the funnel-building process offered by ClickFunnels.

As I said before, even if you have “zero” technical skills, you can build funnels with ClickFunnels easily. They also have a wide range of funnel types and templates that are battle-tested for conversions.

Added to this, you can also share your highly-converting funnels with your friends or community so that they can easily clone it and customize it. One-click funnel cloning feature really sets ClickFunnels apart.

Landing page building

Once you create your new site out of the funnel, you’ll be offered access to your website.

On your website, you can edit any of your individual pages with the help of Builderall’s drag and drop builder.

It’s a fairly good page builder interface. But I didn’t like the UI/UX of the page builder. It seems like an old-age page builder.

Although you’ll be able to accomplish what you want, you may not fully love the process.

A/B split testing with BuilderAll

You can create an A/B split test for a particular page.

Split test variations

Builderall will now dynamically create a duplicate of the original page and treat it as a variation. Now you need to head over to that newly created page and change one aspect of the variation.

They also have heatmap and click map functionalities that allow you to exactly see how people are integrating on your website.

ClickFunnels page builder

In ClickFunnels, you can just click on the “Edit Page” button when on a specific page’s settings. It’ll load up the page builder interface.

As per my experience, ClickFunnels’s page builder loaded pretty quickly.

The page builder also seemed pretty smooth, sleek, minimalistic. I ended up switching from desktop to mobile pretty much instantly without any lag.

Also, the ClickFunnels page builder does not have a persistent sidebar unlike Builderall’s. So, you’ll have a full-width page building experience and this is true WYSIWYG.

Logical order of options

The options are so intuitively and logically arranged that even your grandpa can pick it up. First there are sections, inside which rows and columns can fit in, and inside them the elements.

Elements categories

Here you can see the elements offered by ClickFunnels are more than that of Builderall. The elements are neatly categorized.

You also have an option to manage the elements present on your page. It’s a great productivity hack to quickly make changes on your page.

Some unique elements present in ClickFunnels are video popup, survey, 3 types of timer elements, SMS signup, and many more.

Similar to Builderall, you can also create A/B split tests with ClickFunnels.

ClickFunnels A/B split testing

In ClickFunnels, you have the options to set the traffic distribution between the variations as well.

Autoresponders

Builderall comes with an email marketing software called “MailingBoss”.

BuilderAll email marketing software

Here you have options to create an email marketing workflow, subscriber lists, and also send campaigns.

When you select a workflow, it’ll open up a workflow builder.

Workflow elements and actions

Here, there are many elements you can add to the workflow and also the actions that you can perform in each of the elements.

Their Builder plan, which costs $19.90/month comes with 100 subscribers, their Marketer plan which costs $29.90/month comes with 5,000 subscribers, and the Essential plan comes with 15,000 subscribers at $49.90/month.

If you compare it with the “Basic” base plan of GetResponse, the latter one costs you $36.90/month for a list of 5,000 and doesn’t come with a fully-fledged automation builder.

I would say Builderall offers a better value for money in email marketing and other added features that I discussed.

There are no workflow templates present in the case of Builderall.

ClickFunnels email autoresponders

On the other hand, in ClickFunnels the email autoresponders are called “Follow-up funnels”.

ClickFunnels apps available

You can create a series of actions, and thus form your follow-up sequence.

They don’t have any visual automation workflow builder, but the sequential builder is quite easy to use and powerful.

Other features

Other than the features that I presented above, both ClickFunnels and Builderall come with their unique features.

ClickFunnels unique features:

  • ClickFunnels comes with a feature called Backpack that allows you to setup your own affiliate program, track sales, and pay commissions. It is a part of their Etison suite that costs you $297/month.
  • ClickFunnels has very good integration with various other tools as you saw in the above sections

Builderall unique features:

  • Builderall comes with 25+ apps. Some useful ones are social proof, FB chatbot builder, eLearning, browser notifications, share locker, content locker, website bot, SMS messaging and some others.
  • It also comes with features design mockup studio, VSL builder, app builder, presentation studio, that most of the people don’t even use

When it comes to unique features, Builderall is the winner. But I would say Builderall seems like a jack of all.

Support

With Builderall, you can get support from the following ways:

  • Ticket-based support
  • Email support
  • Knowledgebase
  • YouTube videos
  • FB community (proactive)

With ClickFunnels, along with all the above, you also get live chat support. Typically with live chat, you get replies within 24 hours.

As ClickFunnels is fairly a popular tool, there are a lot of high-quality tutorial videos on the internet, so you won’t get stuck anywhere. Also, there’ll be plenty of live webinars from the community.

Builderall easily offers more features and value for money than ClickFunnels. And also it comes with more custom domain support and also unlimited bandwidth/traffic, unlike ClickFunnels.

But you should easily go with ClickFunnels if you want to get the ease of use and superior funnel, page, and email automation building experience.

You need to also note that follow-up funnels or email automation feature is only available in the higher plan of ClickFunnels costing you $297/month. Whereas, email marketing is available with Builderall at cheaper plans as well.

Bottomline

If you’re looking for the best-hosted funnel building software that pioneers in it, then ClickFunnels is the way to go. Or else, if you have a stringent budget and need lots of features, Builderall is the way to go.

If all of the below conditions are true, go with ClickFunnels:

  • You are earning at least $200/month
  • You don’t need additional apps offered by Builderall
  • You don’t like to fiddle with Builderall’s quite steep learning curve or WordPress plugins

If you want an affordable way to get advanced funnel building capabilities, at an affordable price, you may want to get Thrive Themes (most advanced marketing suite but comes with no email marketing or payment processor plugins) or Cartflows (preferably use it along with any page builders like Elementor).

But these products are WordPress plugins that do require some technical knowledge or research on your end. In turn, the flexibility of creative room that they give is unmatchable – even to ClickFunnels

I hope you guys found this post on Builderall vs ClickFunnels helpful. If you have any doubts let me know below.
