Pabbly Connect is an app by Pabbly – the same people behind Pabbly emails and subscriptions. It is an app that is advertised as a cheap alternative to Zapier as they offer unlimited workflow, multi-step workflows, and more operations per month for you to automate repetitive tasks.
They’ve been running lifetime deals for the last 2-3 years. Pay for the software once, and use it for life – that’s their marketing strategy.
Essentially, this app integrates with 100s of other apps allowing you to automate your daily workflows.
But.
Here’s the story.

Why?
They said I’m making fake claims (without revealing what facts were wrong) regarding the company’s data breach and other issues, some of which are well-documented on the internet. But in reality, I just informed people about these publications.

Just search on Google – “Pabbly data breach”, and you’ll encounter many posts.
When I published about this, they directly sent me an email – “Akshay, Immediate response required.” and asked for my address for serving a legal notice – without any reason why they want my content to be taken down.
India has no clear data regulation laws in place so plain defamation cases work, I don’t have an argument to make.
I’ll let you decide whether to buy into them.
Don’t take security lightly!
You need to avoid using software that has unclear security policies and can easily evade the actual questions.
With these integration apps, you’ll be dealing with high stake client data, credentials, APIs, and passwords.
Personally, I use Integromat (you can use it), Zapier, or also can make use of n8n.io and self-host on your server. Avoid integration tools that don’t care about users’ data and are living in locations where proper data regulation laws are not in place.
What is Pabbly Connect?
It is an Indian-based app similar to Zapier and Integromat well known for their lifetime deals at a cheap price (they are running this for 2-3 years). It is owned by a private company Magnet Brains Private Limited – which creates free courses for high school students.
Is Pabbly Connect safe?
According to many reports, the company faced a huge data breach in 2020 and hid it from the public. When asked about it, they threatened me as you can see in this post! There are still many reports that the XSS issue is unpatched.
Should I get a Pabbly lifetime deal?
I would not buy into them.
Apart from the security concerns, they are forever running lifetime deals, and seem to rely on such deals for profitability.
In my conversation with the founders, they threatened me and are not transparent about their security practices (explained more above). I would use Integromat (at a much cheaper price) or n8n.io which is a free alternative to these softwares.
There are a lot of affiliates promoting them, I’m not.

You can make use of Integromat (that have transparent security practices) or you can also use n8n.io which has a cloud version or you can host the service on your own server.
Should get Pabbly vs Zapier?
Zapier has transparent security practices. Or even better for the price you can consider Integromat or n8n.io.
